It's no secret that many Sicilian players who use the 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 Nc6 move order face a serious headache against the Rossolimo Variation, 3.Bb5. Instead of an Open Sicilian with sharp, double-edged play, Black gets a very nuanced positional game, often with a closed pawn structure. Moreover, White always has a wide choice of options against each of Black's main replies: 3...g6, 3...e6, 3...d6, or even 3...Nf6. My solution is 3...e5, which leads to very interesting, double-edged play. My file contains, as always, a lot of important improvements and novelties. And currently, Black is doing very well — I'm pretty sure this file will serve you for many years ahead!
